Opening hours

For one day, explore the world of the artist’s book by discovering inspiring works and experimenting with two sewn bookbinding techniques: the double-section binding and the cross-binding. We will play with covers, materials, and finishes to bring unique creations to life. Bring your ongoing projects and recycled papers to enrich this collective experience!

Corinne Clarysse (1981 – lives in Charleroi, works in Charleroi, Brussels, and Liège) has been exploring books and archives for about twenty years. Her bookbinding practice oscillates between creating unique notebooks—as part of the Broleskine collective—and designing contemporary bindings for artists, photographers, graphic designers, and more. She teaches this practice in various art schools. She has a particular interest in self/micro-publishing, notably through co-organizing the Papier Carbone festival and her editorial work at Actes Nord éditions. She also works in the restoration of archives and manuscripts.

All materials provided by Konschthal. Work clothes are recommended.
