School workshop - Clay/porcelain casting

The Konschthal and freelance Croatian artist Dijana Engelmann invite you to a casting workshop as part of the SENTIENT SOIL exhibition by Vera Kox. In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to create your own cups/vessels. The course is aimed at anyone who, regardless of their prior knowledge, would like to learn the basics of ceramic design using the casting technique. In the creative process, you will become familiar with the basics of casting clay/porcelain and learn how to turn your ideas into unique ceramic objects.

During the workshop, we will guide you through all the steps of the casting technique. The goal of the course is to impart basic knowledge and skills of ceramic casting. In addition to learning how to shape and simply decorate ceramic objects, you will have the opportunity to let your creativity run wild and design unique cups and vessels.
