Under the title Dis-placed, the Konschthal Esch is part of the Biennial 2024 - Architectures, Esch Cultural Capital. Divided into two parts between July 2024 and January 2025, this major project brought together the works of a dozen international artists around the notion of the loss of ‘home’.

Situated at the intersection between architecture, sculpture, cinematography, graphic arts and photography, graphic arts and photography, all these proposals have been selected in close collaboration with the artists - all of whom have different personal, cultural and artistic backgrounds - in order to reflect the current scene's preoccupations with issues of belonging and exodus.

A complex implementation of the project in the public space and the spaces of the Konschthal Esch offers the public a unique experience, transforming these ‘architectures’ once again.

The subject of this conference is of exhibition scenography, its strategies for enhancement, the people involved and its impact on the programming of an institution like the Konschthal.

Mediators: Christian Mosar (director of the Konschthal Esch) and Charlotte Masse (curator, head of exhibitions at the Konschthal Esch)
